Indie wedding band The Wilde Ones win over crowds with standout musicianship and seriously infectious stage presence, making them a go-to choice for couples who want something a little cooler than the usual. All graduates of Leeds College of Music, the band have toured internationally in their own right alongside a host of acclaimed artists, coming together to form a party-starting function band that has lit up weddings, corporate events, parties, and festivals across the UK and Europe. With original arrangements and a forward-thinking setlist that jumps from 60s rock ’n’ roll to modern chart anthems, they bring something for everyone and deliver every performance with the kind of energy and charm that keeps dancefloors full and guests talking long after the last song.

1. CAN WE SEE THE BAND LIVE?
To be confident you’ve chosen the right band, we recommend attending one of our showcase events to see them perform live. A showcase gives you the opportunity to experience the band first-hand to see for yourself their energy and stage presence and how they engage with an audience. It’s a great way to see how their style, sound, and overall aesthetic align with the vision for your event.
2. WILL THEY LEARN MY FIRST DANCE SONG?
The first dance is the showpiece of your evening and it’s great to have your band perform the song live. When picking your band, have a think about what first dance you’re going to choose and which band would suit the song. We have some wedding bands for hire that are really good at romantic songs and others that are good for upbeat songs. It’s good to keep this in mind when selecting the band for your wedding or event.
3. WILL THE BAND TRAVEL
Our bands mainly cover Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire but we also provide entertainment in London. We have a range of bands available, from rock bands to jazz bands, so you can find the perfect band for your event. Get in touch with our team to discuss your location.
4. HOW LONG DO THE BANDS PERFORM FOR?
Bands tend to perform 2 x 45-minute sessions across an evening reception. Many of our bands can upgrade their set times to 2 x 60 minutes. Our bands also offer a DJ service to cover the whole wedding reception so the music never stops and your dance floor is still jumping.

6. CAN I REQUEST A SONG?
Known for getting the whole crowd singing along, The Wilde Ones’ repertoire can adapt to any occasion. You can request certain songs (such as for your first dance) or genres ahead of your event, so you’ll know the music will be perfect.
