ABOUT BIG SHOUT
Big Shout deliver a powerful, polished sound driven by one of the most accomplished horn sections in the North of England. This 5–7 piece band are Leeds Conservatoire graduates who have been housemates, bandmates, and close collaborators for years, resulting in a natural on-stage chemistry. Their performances are defined by high energy, tight grooves, and two dynamic 45-minute live sets that consistently connect with audiences.

1. CAN WE SEE THE BAND LIVE?
To be confident you’ve chosen the right band, we recommend attending one of our showcase events to see them perform live. A showcase gives you the opportunity to experience the band first-hand to see for yourself their energy and stage presence and how they engage with an audience. It’s a great way to see how their style, sound, and overall aesthetic align with the vision for your event.
2. WILL THEY LEARN MY FIRST DANCE SONG?
The first dance is the showpiece of your evening and it’s great to have your band perform the song live. When picking your band, have a think about what first dance you’re going to choose and which band would suit the song. We have some wedding bands for hire that are really good at romantic songs and others that are good for upbeat songs. It’s good to keep this in mind when selecting the band for your wedding or event.
3. WILL THE BAND TRAVEL
Our bands mainly cover Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire but we also provide entertainment in London. We have a range of bands available, from rock bands to jazz bands, so you can find the perfect band for your event. Get in touch with our team to discuss your location.
4. HOW LONG DO THE BANDS PERFORM FOR?
Bands tend to perform 2 x 45-minute sessions across an evening reception. Many of our bands can upgrade their set times to 2 x 60 minutes. Our bands also offer a DJ service to cover the whole wedding reception so the music never stops and your dance floor is still jumping.
5. DO THE BANDS FOR HIRE OFFER DAYTIME OPTIONS

6. CAN I REQUEST A SONG?
Known for getting the whole crowd singing along, Big Shout Band’s repertoire can adapt to any occasion. You can request certain songs (such as for your first dance) or genres ahead of your event, so you’ll know the music will be perfect.
