Liam is a British musician who performs live with an acoustic guitar. He has been a regular on the UK circuit for over five years and is the lead singer of the highly acclaimed Big Shout Band.

Liam has an outstanding reputation as a brilliant performer and has done over 150 weddings in his time. If you love a bit of 80s and 90s pop, he’s your guy. He performs everything from Gnarls Barkley, Fleetwood Mac and Kylie, to TLC, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. He is the perfect musician to perform as you walk down the aisle and offers drinks reception and wedding breakfast entertainment packages.

1. CAN WE SEE THE BAND LIVE?
To ensure you love the band you want, it’s a great idea to attend one our showcase events to see the band live. Visiting a live showcase allows you to experience the band’s performance first-hand, giving you a genuine feel of their energy, stage presence, and ability to interact with the audience. This chance is priceless for determining whether the band fits with the overall theme and aesthetic of your event.
2. WILL THEY LEARN MY FIRST DANCE SONG?
The first dance is the showpiece of your evening and it’s great to have your band perform the song live. When picking your band, have a think about what first dance you’re going to choose and which band would suit the song. We have some wedding bands for hire that are really good at romantic songs and others that are good for upbeat songs. It’s good to keep this in mind when selecting the band for your wedding or event.
3. WILL THE BAND TRAVEL
Our bands mainly cover Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and Yorkshire but we also provide entertainment in London. We have a range of bands available, from rock bands to jazz bands, so you can find the perfect band for your event. Get in touch with our team to discuss your location.
4. HOW LONG DO THE BANDS PERFORM FOR?
Bands tend to perform 2 x 45-minute sessions across an evening reception. Many of our bands can upgrade their set times to 2 x 60 minutes. Our bands also offer a DJ service to cover the whole wedding reception so the music never stops and your dance floor is still jumping.

6. CAN I REQUEST A SONG?
Known for getting the whole crowd singing along, Something For the Weekend’s repertoire can adapt to any occasion. You can request certain songs (such as for your first dance) or genres ahead of your event, so you’ll know the music will be perfect.
